This book allows children to write and draw on its pages, over and over, with dry-erase markers. The purpose is to help them identify various facial expressions. On the left-hand page is a face showing an emotion (happy, sad, loved, etc.). The text below the face can be used as talking points about the emotion (e.g., What makes you happy?). On the opposite page the child can copy the expression onto a blank face. Copying the contours of the mouth, eyebrows, and eyes helps the child retain the details of different expressions and emotions.
